Eating Dinuguan is Strictly Prohibited According to the Bible? By: Nicholai Lucenos,CFD,PDR

OBJECTION OF NON-CATHOLIC REGARDING OF US IN EATING DINUGUAN,

`And any man from the house of Israel, or from the aliens who sojourn among them, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from among his people.

`For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement.’  (Leviticus 17:10-11)

My Dear Brother and Sister in Christ their a lot of questions and attacks of our beloved separated brethren  regarding this issue, but I tell  you this verse is not absolutely prohibiting to us to eat Dinuguan because these text is not literal in interpretation. Why is that these verse tells us or warn not to eat because blood is being use as an offer to the altar which make atonement for the soul, thats why blood is prohibited.  The question is are we practicing today to offer blood in the altar? The answer: NO ,  There is A Verse in the Bible which is telling to us that this issue is not absolutely prohibited when we eat to prove this accusation.

VERSES IN THE HOLY BIBLE TELLING TO US WHAT IS TRUTH ABOUT THIS ISSUE,

“Behold, since its blood had not been brought inside, into the sanctuary, you should certainly have eaten it in the sanctuary, just as I commanded.”

(New American Standard Bible, Leviticus 10:18 )

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

(New American Standard Bible, Romans 14:17 )

To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.

( New American Standard Bible, Titus 1:15)

Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day–

things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ

(New American Standard Bible, Colossians 2:16-17 )

I HOPE YOU LEARN MY SHORT CONTRIBUTION REGARDING OUR FAITH, THANK YOU FOR VISITING AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU…
